Organizers for Ignite Hampton Roads #3

Rich Moormann

Rich Moormann

Rich has a contagious optimism about what is possible in other people. His passion for strategic planning in organizations and training effective leadership skills is embraced in his role as Managing Partner of Leadership Management Institute. He continues to invest in his community through his severe commitment to Toastmasters International and the Boy Scouts of America, where he recently served as a leader for the National Jamboree. His longstanding interest in all things geek allows him to explain things like the inner workings of internet web services or sustainable living with ease.

When he's not camping, sailing, marching in a parade, pushing other people to achieve their dreams or training to be a NASCAR test driver on I-64, he will be with his children, for they are the future.

One of his many dreams is to bring a sub-$10,000, DIY, 100% electric auto to the mass market.

Another is to present at TED.

Rob Hegedus

Rob Hegedus

Rob is a serial entrepreneur and managing partner at Entrepreneur Outfitters, an early-stage venture capital firm. The company's equity holdings align with the industries Rob and the firm are passionate about, to include renewable energy and small-business government contractors. With the goal of helping as many people as possible achieve their entrepreneurial potential, a portion of annual company revenue is set aside to provide interest-free micro-loans to aspiring entrepreneurs in developing countries around the globe. When not managing the company's investment portfolio, Rob is president of the Deep Creek Ruritan Club, a soccer coach in the Chesapeake city league, an amateur historian and pianist (he only plays Beethoven sonatas) and an aspiring aerobatics pilot...his dream is to one day compete nationally.

Tony Pino

Tony Pino

Tony grew up in Miami, studied Music at Florida State and promptly joined the Marine Corps. He is now a contractor, bringing an artful approach to a sometimes binary world. Landing in Norfolk, he started Wisdom Harvest, a meeting planning and facilitation business, and was involved in producing MODSIM World Conference and Expo in Hampton Roads its first three years. You can find him wondering why he's not as actively involved in the community as his colleagues (Rich and Rob), but more often in the garden, chasing his kids around the yard, air-drumming to 311 or guest conducting the London Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Mahler's Symphony 2 in his car.
While sitting in the driveway.
When no one is looking.
